The Scandal of Lord Sin by Diane Queenston

This wasn't my favourite of her books, and is not particularly memorable.

There's also this cringe-worthy sentence: I'm bored of seeing 'running fingers down her back like warm water', and everything being described as sturdy. Diane has found her niche, and sticks to it, but she really needs to break free of some of the language she uses. Much is made of Kelsey's femininity once again, like previous books. Well, she is, since he quite happily takes her to heaven. Kelsey is the female captain (note I said FEMALE), and lands in the arms of Alastair, thinking she's in heaven. This book is set around Kelsey and Alastair - both captains of their respective ships, in separate times, brought together by a storm/red mist.

Which is one of the weirdest things to be described as sturdy. I really think that Diane needs to pick up a thesaurus once in a while, as everything is described as sturdy in her books - including, in this book, Alastair's fingers. Warning!
